Gurdwara Kapal Mochan Sahib is located in village Kapal Mochan, seventeen kms from Jagadhri on the Bilaspur Road

This Gurdwara is dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji who vsited this place. Guru Nanak Dev Ji came here from Haridwar and Saharanpur. Addressing a large congregation, Guru Nanak Dev Ji said that going to a a tirth ( a religious place) meant that one could form part of a large religious gathering

Whilst sitting in this gathering, one should offer prayers to the One Almighty and seek the advice and bessings of the Guru or the Teacher. It is only then that one could attain salvation. On hearing the Guru’s preachings, a large number of sadhus, saints, yogi’s etc. came to meet him and asked him for the signs that identify such persons. Guru Sahib then recited the Ratanmala for their benefit.

Guru Gobind Singh came here after the Battle of Bhangani. He rested here for 52 days here. During his stay at this place, he rewarded the brave soldiers of the Battle of Bhangani with siropas. During his stay here, Guru Gobind Singh celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and thus revived the memory of the First Guru’s visit to Kapal Mochan. He exhorted the Sikhs to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with great splendor every year at this place. Since then, a big fair is held here every year on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

The main building and sarovar have already been constructed. A guest house and langar hall are being built. A Darshani Deori and a Diwan hall are planned for the future.
