Gurdwara Thanda Burj Sahib is situated on the Main Sirhind Morinda Road. It is 100 yards north of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
Mata Gujri Ji and Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh were arrested under false charges and were brought here for legal proceedings. All the three were confirned in a cold tower for the night. The floor was hard and there were no beddings for them. They kept shivering whole night.
They spent the night restlessly and kept praying to the A lmighty. This was the place where they were under custody. From here they were taken to Kachari/court where they were produced before the Wazir Khan the Viceroy of Sirhind for hearing. It is the same place where Mata ji breath her last after listening about death of the young Sahibzada. Burj is merged with Gurdwara Thanda Burj. Kachari could be seen clearly from the Burj. Jor Mela of young Sahibzadas is celebrated here.
